La Grande Epicerie de Paris seeks a Part-Time Cashier (15h/week). Checkout role in luxury gourmet retail, Paris. Tue/Fri/Sat evenings.
Role & Responsibilities
- Open and close cash registers and reconcile cash floats
- Process customer transactions and handle point-of-sale operations
- Welcome customers and respond to product inquiries with attentiveness and knowledge
- Bag merchandise with care, reflecting the premium nature of the retail environment
- Monitor cash drawer accuracy and complete end-of-shift financial reconciliation
Qualifications
- Prior cashier or retail checkout experience preferred
- English language proficiency
- Strong customer service orientation with commitment to quality interactions
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly for the specified schedule (Tue/Fri/Sat, 15:30–20:30)
