Le Bon Marché is recruiting a Business Analyst Intern for a six-month internship starting January 4, 2027, within Samaritaine’s Finance Department and Business Analyst team. The role supports commercial performance monitoring in collaboration with Le Bon Marché teams, through sales analysis, monthly close, budgeting, strategic planning, and Power BI reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze weekly and monthly sales by product category, customer segment, and KPIs for management.
- Conduct additional analyses, including brand productivity and pop-up event performance.
- Contribute to the monthly close, including reconciliation of sales and variable costs, as well as stock-related costs.
- Analyze variances against the reference period during monthly close.
- Participate in the budget and strategic planning processes; prepare reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Create reports in Power BI.
- Contribute to optimizing and implementing analytics tools to monitor performance.
Qualifications
- Higher education at Bac+4/5 level.
- A first experience in Finance or as a Business or Data Analyst is preferred.
- Analytical mindset and ability to look beyond the numbers.
- Dynamism, rigour, curiosity, autonomy, and initiative.
- Strong command of Excel; experience with a data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense is an advantage.
- Team spirit and interest in working in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interest in the luxury and retail sectors.
- Fluent English.
