Le Bon Marché — Paris seeks an Assistant Sales Manager (alternance) for luxury retail teams in Beauty, Accessories or Children’s departments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager as a day-to-day deputy and co-manage a defined commercial sector (Beauty, Accessories — Watches/Jewellery/Bijoux, or Children’s).
- Animate, coach and motivate a team of sales advisors on the floor, ensuring consistent standards of behaviour and service.
- Drive commercial performance for the sector and maintain an exceptional client experience.
- Analyse sales data and contribute to weekly/monthly performance reporting and action plans.
- Manage cash operations and resolve client disputes following store procedures.
- Oversee replenishment and merchandising execution for the sector to optimise visual presentation and stock availability.
- Coordinate inventories and support the implementation of commercial operations and events.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or holder of a Bac+4/5 degree from a business school or equivalent (work‑study/apprenticeship contract).
- First professional experience in retail sales; prior exposure to team supervision is an advantage.
- Strong commercial sensibility and a demonstrable client‑service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening ability, and a collaborative attitude.
- Organised, reactive and adaptable with the capacity to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
- Availability to work weekends and peak retail hours.
- Proficiency in English.

Entry‑level role suitable for a candidate in a work‑study (alternance) programme or recent graduate with initial retail sales experience; prior responsibility for supervising or coaching colleagues is desirable.
Education
Bac+4/5 (Master-level) in business, commerce, luxury retail management or equivalent — work‑study/apprenticeship candidature.
