Groupe Bon Marché — Paris: Assistant Buyer (permanent, full‑time). Support buying operations, order management and supplier administration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support a senior buyer in the day‑to‑day management of an assigned portfolio of brands.
  • Process and enter purchase orders; receive and verify order confirmations and supporting documentation.
  • Transmit orders through the company’s systems and maintain accurate transactional records.
  • Prepare seasonal buying books and contribute to assortment planning materials.
  • Create and onboard suppliers; collect and verify required administrative documents.
  • Maintain and update product and brand referencing within the merchandising tool.
  • Produce and update management reporting tables and administrative support materials (directories, website content).
  • Coordinate showrooms and buyer appointments, including calendar management and logistical support.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) or equivalent in business, fashion buying, merchandising or related discipline.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in buying support, merchandising or retail purchasing operations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory); proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
  • Strong command of SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, responsive and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills.
