Application Manager at Le Bon Marché, Paris. Full-time hybrid role supporting back-office systems and driving continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and analyse business requirements for system improvements and tool enhancements, planning their execution in coordination with project leads
- Conduct and coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
- Document delivered solutions and provide training to end-users as required
- Alert management to critical blockers and provide regular project status communications to all stakeholders
- Manage Service Desk relationships by maintaining knowledge bases and establishing request and incident handling procedures
- Conduct regular follow-up meetings with support teams to drive service level improvements
- Provide Level 2 technical support to users, analysing application anomalies and treating root causes rather than symptoms
- Escalate incidents to vendors when necessary and communicate findings with precision to business teams
- Evaluate incident criticality and alert management of severe issues
- Identify recurring system failures and propose targeted solutions; capitalise on lessons learned through documentation and training updates
Qualifications
- IT background or equivalent technical training
- Previous experience in an application management or similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of SAP and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands

First professional experience in an application management or IT support position; familiarity with retail or distribution environments is advantageous.
