Le Bon Marché seeks an Application Manager in Paris to provide IT support for back-office systems on a full-time, hybrid basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and document application requirements and functional deficiencies; coordinate implementation with relevant project owners and business units
- Organize user acceptance testing (recette) with business stakeholders and prepare comprehensive solution documentation for end-user deployment
- Escalate critical and blocking issues to management; maintain regular progress communications across business, production, and software vendor teams
- Establish and maintain Service Desk protocols and procedures; conduct periodic performance reviews with support personnel to enhance service levels
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to end-users, diagnosing application anomalies and addressing root causes rather than symptoms
- Evaluate incident severity and criticality; identify recurring dysfunction patterns and propose sustainable solutions to prevent reoccurrence
- Capture and document lessons learned; identify training needs and update technical documentation based on incidents and user feedback
Qualifications
- IT background or formal qualification in computer science or information systems
- Prior experience in application support or similar system management role
- Demonstrated expertise with SAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with methodical, organized approach to problem-solving
- Fluent communication skills with ability to engage diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders

Entry-level to junior experience in application support, systems administration, or IT service delivery; first position in an application management or specialist support role acceptable.
Education
IT diploma, bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent professional qualification.
