Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage corrective and evolutionary maintenance for assigned applications, acting as the primary liaison between business users, project leaders and solution vendors.
  • Identify and analyse functional change requests and operational incidents; plan and track implementations in collaboration with project managers and domain leads.
  • Organise and coordinate user acceptance testing (recette) with business stakeholders and ensure delivery quality before production rollout.
  • Provide Level 2 support to users: diagnose anomalies, determine root causes, propose corrective solutions and escalate to the vendor or senior teams when required.
  • Define, document and maintain operational procedures and runbooks; produce user-facing documentation and deliver training when necessary.
  • Own the relationship with the Service Desk: maintain ticketing standards, establish incident handling procedures, run regular follow‑ups and coordinate interventions with IT production/exploitation teams or external partners.
  • Communicate progress, risks and blockers to stakeholders; identify recurring dysfunctions and propose systemic improvements to eliminate root causes.
  • Capture knowledge from incidents to update documentation, detect training needs and improve support processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • First professional experience in application support, maintenance or a comparable IT role (entry-level / débutant accepted).
  • Familiarity with SAP and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Methodical, organized and curious with a pragmatic problem‑solving approach and a strong sense of priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with business users and external vendors.
  • Interest in retail operations (including food retail environments) and their business processes.
