Le Bon Marché — Paris: Application Manager (Back-Office), full‑time permanent IT role supporting back‑office applications and Service Desk.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of assigned back‑office applications, liaising with end users and the domain project lead to define requirements and delivery plans.
- Identify and analyse functional change requests and incidents; plan and track implementation in coordination with the project manager or domain owner.
- Organize and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and document test results.
- Produce end‑user documentation and deliver targeted training when required; capitalise on recurring issues by updating guides and recommending training needs.
- Act as primary interface with the Service Desk: maintain and improve service levels, define intake and incident handling procedures, and perform regular follow‑ups with the team.
- Provide Level 2 support: investigate anomalies, perform root‑cause analysis, escalate to vendors or production teams when necessary, and deliver precise, business‑facing explanations.
- Communicate project progress and critical blockers to stakeholders (Business, Production, vendor) and alert line management on major risks.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent technical training.
- First professional experience (internship or entry role) in application support, IT operations or a similar position.
- Practical knowledge of SAP and advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Methodical, organised and curious with demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable liaising with business users and technical teams.
