Le Bon Marché Paris seeks an Administrative Purchasing Assistant on fixed-term contract for the Children's department through April 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor sector activity including supplier referencing, stock tracking maintenance, stock rupture alerts, reorder requirement collection, markdown calculations, and inventory participation
- Develop and maintain merchandise assortment plans aligned with departmental strategy
- Manage commercial catalogs by collecting specifications (references, pricing, quantities, characteristics), creating product sheets, issuing purchase orders, coordinating with logistics, and tracking order quantities
- Collaborate closely with point-of-sale managers to gather reorder requirements for permanent sector merchandise
- Serve as liaison between sales teams, the buying office, support functions, and suppliers regarding order management
- Provide daily operational support to the Buyer including meeting preparation and commercial agreement drafting assistance
- Participate actively in departmental operations and contribute to team initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +2/+3) or equivalent in commercial management
- Proven experience in purchasing, administrative assistance, or sales administration (internships and apprenticeships count)
- Demonstrated organizational skills, precision, initiative, autonomy, and anticipatory thinking
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Recognized for reliability and discretion
- Sensitivity to children's fashion and lifestyle products
- Proficient in core office software (Microsoft Word, Excel)
