Administrative Purchasing Assistant position at Le Bon Marché in Paris—contract role (Sept 2026–Apr 2027) supporting buying operations in the children's luxury category.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and track sector activity, including supplier referencing, maintenance of inventory tracking tables, stock rupture alerts, restock requirement collection, markdown calculation, inventory participation, and supplier dispute resolution
- Develop and maintain the assortment plan
- Manage commercial catalogs by collecting requirements (references, pricing, quantities, characteristics), creating and entering product sheets, issuing purchase orders, coordinating with logistics, conducting order quantity reports, and following up with suppliers
- Collaborate closely with stand managers to collect restock requirements for the permanent sector
- Serve as liaison between sales teams, the purchasing office, support functions, and suppliers, particularly regarding customer order management
- Provide daily support to the Buyer, including meeting preparation and assistance with commercial agreements
- Participate in the daily activities and operations of the department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac +2/+3) in commercial management or related field
- Experience in procurement, administrative support, or sales administration (including internships and apprenticeships)
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, initiative, autonomy, and anticipation capability
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Recognized for reliability and discretion
- Sensitivity to and familiarity with the children's product category
- Proficiency with Word and Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred)
- English language skills (preferred)
