The Accounts Payable Accountant manages supplier invoices from entry through payment, customer invoicing and collections, aged-balance reconciliations, and supplier relationships. The role contributes to process improvement and SAP S/4HANA implementation at the Samaritaine; permanent, full-time, on-site position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive supplier invoices, match them against purchase orders, and investigate discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier and customer aged balances.
- Track and issue customer invoices.
- Monitor invoice approval and other processes that may delay or block final payment.
- Create and maintain customer and supplier master data.
- Manage supplier relationships, including invoicing issues, payment reminders, disputes, and payment terms.
- Manage a varied supplier portfolio and process supplier invoices from entry through payment.
- Manage service invoicing to brands and ensure collection.
- Contribute to process improvement and the implementation of SAP S/4HANA as accounting tools are updated and accounting is brought in-house.
Qualifications
- Higher education in accounting, audit, or finance (Bac +2/+3, such as DCG).
- English at B2 level for comprehension and speaking; fluent English is not required.
- Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Organized, rigorous, and proactive, with strong communication skills and IT agility.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
