Comptable F/H - Accounts Payable Accountant at La Samaritaine, Paris | SAP & Finance role in luxury retail
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive supplier invoices, verify alignment between purchase orders and invoices received, and analyze variance causes
- Reconcile supplier and client aged balance reports
- Monitor and issue client invoices
- Control the invoice validation process and identify obstacles to timely payment
- Create and maintain supplier and client master data records
- Manage supplier relationships, including billing issues, follow-ups, disputes, and payment terms negotiation
Qualifications
- Advanced education in Accounting, Audit, or Finance (bac +2/+3 or equivalent such as DCG)
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and rigorous attention to detail
- Proactive communication skills and IT agility
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or supplier accounting functions preferred; minimum 3 years required. Demonstrated expertise in supplier invoice processing and accounts payable operations in a complex, multi-brand environment.
Education
Advanced education in Accounting, Audit, or Finance specialization (bac +2/+3, equivalent to DCG or similar qualification).
