Accountant (F/H) at La Samaritaine, Paris — manage supplier accounts and SAP implementation in luxury selective distribution.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive invoices, verify alignment between purchase orders and invoices received, and analyse variance causes
  • Reconcile aged payable and receivable schedules
  • Track and issue client invoices
  • Control invoice validation processes and identify any obstacles to timely payment
  • Create and maintain the supplier and client master data registry
  • Manage vendor relationships, including billing issues, follow-ups, disputes, and payment terms negotiation

Qualifications

  • Higher education qualification in Accounting, Audit, or Finance (Bac+2/+3, such as DCG)
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • English language proficiency at B2 level (intermediate)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Organized, rigorous, and proactive profile
  • Strong communication skills and IT agility
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
