Groupe Bon Marché seeks experienced Accountant for Samaritaine store in Paris. IFRS & SAP expertise required. Full-time, on-site position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Control and reconciliation of intercompany accounts across group entities
- Record accounting transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Perform account matching, reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis
- Monitor and analyze balance sheet accounts
- Oversee and supervise accounting data entry compliance with established timelines
- Generate trial balances, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
- Record miscellaneous accounting operations
- Prepare quarterly reports, year-end closing procedures, and regulatory reporting
- Prepare and file tax declarations (VAT, DES, EMBI, Corporate Tax, CVAE, C3S)
- Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit coordination
- Monitor evolution of accounting standards and ensure proper application
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for accounting procedures and systems
Qualifications
- Diploma in Superior Accounting (DCG, DSCG, or DEC)
- 5–6 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Demonstrated expertise in both French accounting standards and IFRS
- Preferred background in accounting firm and corporate environments
- Operational English proficiency
- Advanced analytical and technical accounting competencies
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Skills
Experience
5–6 years in a similar accounting position, preferably combining experience in both accounting firms and corporate environments, with solid grounding in French accounting standards and IFRS.
Education
Diploma in Superior Accounting (DCG, DSCG, or DEC)
