La Prairie seeks a Quality Control Production Assistant for its Quality Control team at Swiss Cosmetics Production in Berneck, Switzerland. The role supports production quality, compliance with global cosmetics legislation and internal standards, and continuous improvement; it requires at least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience and fluent German with good English (minimum B1).
Role & Responsibilities
- Approve production lines and support operational teams on quality matters.
- Identify, assess, and report quality-related complaints arising from the production process.
- Conduct root-cause analyses and promote continuous improvement of production processes.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of production quality standards.
- Escalate quality-related risks and findings to the supervisor.
- Identify and share new approaches to improving quality processes.
- Maintain and archive all production-related quality documentation and samples.
- Support microbiological sampling of all materials and facilities.
- Support incoming inspection, release, and testing plans for packaging materials (PM).
- Carry out general quality tasks in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP-ISO22716), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Training as a laboratory technician with an EFZ qualification, food technologist with an EFZ qualification, or similar; alternatively, extensive experience in a comparable field with relevant further training.
- At least 3 years of professional laboratory experience in the cosmetics industry or an equivalent setting.
- Fluent German and good English skills (at least B1).
- Team-oriented and communicative, with very good organizational skills.
