La Mer is seeking a Product Marketing and Consumer Engagement Assistant intern in Paris, reporting to the 360° Project Manager. The role supports marketing activations and performance reporting, press and influence activity, events, vendor coordination and trade marketing; the internship offers pay of up to €1,400.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of marketing activations.
- Help implement and monitor marketing tools, including kits and presentations.
- Conduct market monitoring and analysis, including NPD, Power BI, competitor benchmarks, market trends and cosmetics trends.
- Monitor and report on brand performance.
- Support the influence and press teams by creating press kits and seedling handout cards, and sharing the calendar.
- Coordinate internal communications.
- Help organise and monitor retail, influence, press and internal events.
- Provide logistical support and coordinate with vendors.
- Monitor and coordinate the brand's service providers.
- Provide occasional support to the Trade team in implementing in-store animations, tools and promotions.
Qualifications
- Be in the final year of university or business school, or taking a gap year.
- Have excellent command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Have a strong interest in luxury and its codes.
- Demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills.
- Be rigorous, organised and autonomous, with initiative and a proactive approach.
- Have strong interpersonal skills.
- Be fluent in English.
