A skilled make-up artist for La Mer will deliver personalized, educationally enriched in-store consultations that combine technical expertise with creative flair and exceptional customer service. The role encompasses participation in high-impact in-store events, maintenance of premium visual merchandising standards, and leadership within a dynamic retail team committed to delivering competitive differentiation in prestige beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store beauty consultations and make-up application services
- Educate and delight customers through demonstration of product expertise and creative application techniques
- Participate in the creation and execution of in-store events and promotional activities
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising to ensure the counter stands out against competitors
- Collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing retail team
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process transactions accurately
- Work flexibly across retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Certification or qualification in make-up artistry or previous retail beauty experience (preferred)

- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems

Skills
Experience
Experience in make-up artistry, beauty retail, or cosmetics consultation is preferred; however, candidates with amateur-level experience and strong creative and technical expertise are welcomed. Retail experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is valued.
Education
Certification in make-up artistry is desirable but not required. Secondary education or equivalent is assumed.
