A highly skilled Make-Up Artist at La Mer will combine creative and technical expertise with a passion for customer engagement to deliver a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience. The role encompasses makeup application, artistry consultation, and in-store event execution while maintaining visual merchandising excellence. This is an entry-level position within the prestige beauty sector, offering training and development opportunities for candidates with amateur-level or higher makeup experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Apply makeup artistry and provide personalized beauty consultations to customers during in-store engagements
- Create impact through in-store events and product demonstrations
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure competitive in-store presentation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing retail team
- Educate customers on product benefits and application techniques
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience welcome if applicants demonstrate creative and technical expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Capability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Right to live and work in Taiwan
