This in-store beauty role at La Mer invites skilled makeup artists to combine creative expertise and passion for client engagement, delivering personalized consultations and product demonstrations that educate and inspire customers. The incumbent will lead in-store events, maintain visual merchandising excellence, and work collaboratively within a high-performing retail team to drive both customer satisfaction and sales performance. While formal makeup artistry certification or previous counter experience is preferred, the brand welcomes applicants with demonstrated amateur-level expertise and a commitment to professional development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, inspirational in-store consultations combining creative and technical expertise in makeup artistry to educate and delight customers
- Execute makeup applications and beauty demonstrations that showcase La Mer products and brand values
- Lead in-store beauty events and promotional activities as part of a high-performing retail team
- Maintain elevated visual merchandising standards across the counter and store environment to ensure competitive differentiation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver consistent, authentic customer service across all interactions
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or professional-level makeup experience (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated high level of creative and technical expertise in makeup application
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Right to live and work in Taiwan (proof required upon interview invitation)
