La Mer seeks a freelance Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized beauty consultations and customer service, execute visual merchandising, and support promotional events and product demonstrations in retail locations. The role works flexible retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events; pay is $24.80–$37.20 per hour, with benefits available to eligible employees.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers.
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor.
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement.
• Maintain active knowledge of La Mer product offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers effectively.
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to support smooth floor operations and an optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Availability to work flexible retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire or interview.
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with a retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, converse with customers, handle product packaging and display materials, and frequently reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24.80 to USD 37.20 per hour.
