La Mer Beauty Advisor position in Amsterdam — 32-hour part-time role in luxury beauty retail at Bijenkorf.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, memorable in-store experiences through expert product guidance and authentic customer engagement
- Provide comprehensive education on skincare, makeup, and fragrance products, facilitating product trials and demonstrations
- Identify and maximize sales opportunities while confidently recommending products tailored to individual client needs
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Contribute actively to team performance and store commercial success
- Maintain current knowledge of luxury beauty trends and social media landscape

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beauty industry
- 2–3 years of experience in a beauty-focused role
- Certification or degree as an esthetician or beauty consultant (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering luxury, personalized service
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong social media awareness and current knowledge of beauty trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English

1–2 years of sales experience preferably in beauty; 2–3 years in a comprehensive beauty role. Experience delivering luxury, personalized service in a retail environment is essential.
Education
Certification or degree as an esthetician, beauty consultant, or equivalent qualification is a plus.
