Krug, Reims | Head of Hospitality — Lead luxury champagne hospitality strategy, manage €2M budget, oversee 12-person team across historic venues.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, pilot, and implement Krug's hospitality strategy in close collaboration with marketing, commercial, oenology, vineyard, and transverse teams across all reception venues
  • Conceive and deploy action plans for reception venues balancing coherence, desirability, and performance
  • Lead development of new paid hospitality offerings, including venue design oversight, project management, operational excellence, economic performance, and financial control
  • Directly manage a team of approximately 12 collaborators including ambassadors, experience coordinators, operations officers, reception staff, chefs, housekeeping personnel, and interns/trainees
  • Organize, support, and develop teams with constant commitment to service excellence, operational fluidity, and adherence to Maison standards
  • Ensure comprehensive HR and organizational dimensions: planning, reservations, contracts, recruitment, HR tracking, training, and skills development
  • Optimize visit planning in close coordination with transverse Champagne teams and internal Krug departments
  • Develop, formalize, and update reception venue guidelines and coordinate Education & Training programs implementation
  • Manage activity budget of approximately €2 million, monitor indicators, oversee F&B billing, operations, supplies, and expenditure
  • Supervise maintenance and renovation projects across the three venues in coordination with relevant departments
  • Guarantee implementation, compliance, and proper communication of security, hygiene, and MHCS procedures
  • Serve as primary liaison for the Maison and MH/LVMH teams on transverse project oversight
  • Embody the Maison through every experience and detail, serving as ambassador to guests, partners, and local networks
  • Lead guest groups in high-value relational experiences and participate in tastings, lunches, and dinners
  • Maintain close partnership with culinary collaborators while ensuring alignment with Krug's universe and values

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, ideally in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or event reception management
  • Demonstrated capacity to combine strategic vision with daily operational involvement
  • Proven direct management of multidisciplinary teams and indirect management within a matrix organization
  • Bilingual French/English; a third language is advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of wine, Champagne, hospitality, and luxury sectors
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Acute sensitivity to guest experience and bespoke hospitality codes in high-end service
  • Strong ability to develop and mentor diverse profiles
  • Significant budgetary management experience with demonstrated rigor and business acumen

Experience

Education

Hospitality management degree, business school, or equivalent qualification with specialization in Food & Beverage is preferred.
