Kilian Paris, a niche luxury fragrance house within Estée Lauder Companies, seeks a Fragrance Product Development Assistant to support the product development lifecycle from concept through launch. The role combines hands-on involvement in fragrance creation with cross-functional collaboration across marketing, R&D, packaging, supply chain, and retail teams. The intern will conduct market research, participate in olfactory evaluations, manage fragrance and packaging samples, develop product concepts, and prepare presentations for a dynamic luxury beauty environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development of fragrance projects through close collaboration with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Supply Chain, Creative, Retail, Education) and external partners (perfume houses, creative and mock-up agencies)
- Participate in olfactory evaluations and support the follow-up of fragrance development initiatives
- Assist in packaging development with meticulous attention to detail, including sample evaluations and artwork development
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research on fragrances, trends, and innovations
- Contribute to concept development through research, mood board creation, and naming proposals
- Prepare presentations, product decks, and support the preparation of cross-functional meetings
- Manage fragrance and packaging samples, including ordering, tracking, and coordinating deliveries and shipments
- Update and maintain existing product collections, ensuring accuracy of formulations, packaging details, and information
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree programme in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
- Fluent in French and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- First experience in marketing; fragrance or beauty marketing development experience is preferred
- Strong interest in fragrance, beauty, and the luxury sector

A first experience in marketing is required; fragrance marketing, beauty project management, or product development experience is valued.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
