The Keyholder supports the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving store and individual sales goals while delivering personalized service, beauty advice and support for daily store operations at Kiehl’s in Vancouver. This is a fixed-term role with monthly sales bonus potential on top of hourly base wage, quarterly gratis allocation and career growth opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving store sales goals and individual sales goals set by the management team.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, including features, benefits, usage and application techniques, and provide service and beauty advice.
- Generate sales against targets by applying the brand’s selling method, product knowledge and basic service flow; maximize selling opportunities through link-selling.
- Support daily point-of-sale operations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Follow brand CRM procedures to recruit and retain customers.
- Maintain the counter and store’s presentation and cleanliness, merchandising, and on-shelf product availability.
- Acknowledge and record customer complaints and issues, and communicate them to the Store Manager.
- Share useful information with the Store Manager about competitors, clients and other key events.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures.
- Attend all scheduled shifts.
Qualifications
- Retail and/or cosmetics experience preferred.
- Previous keyholder experience preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Diligent and responsible attitude.
- Analytical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, use stairs and/or a ladder as necessary, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
- English is required; a second language is an asset.
