Kering — Warehouse Operations Senior Specialist / Coordinator in Tokyo. Lead 3PL coordination and warehouse migration for a global luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations with primary focus on inbound and reverse logistics, ensuring operational continuity and rapid resolution of IT-related issues.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory revalorization and recycling activities, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational standards throughout the migration period.
- Review, validate and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with the appointed 3PL partner.
- Coordinate hiring and training plans for blue-collar staff in alignment with 3PL white-collar teams and support functions.
- Lead and coordinate the safe migration from the incumbent facility to the new warehouse with logistics partners, local warehouse and transport teams.
- Implement the new "operations routine" with the 3PL and monitor on-time execution while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics or warehouse operations; direct project experience with warehouse migrations is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to lead, influence and manage relationships with 3PL partners.
- Engineering background or degree is a plus; demonstrates a data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools: Teams, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is advantageous.
- Business-level English and full professional fluency in Japanese.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in logistics or warehouse operations, with demonstrated responsibility for coordinating third-party logistics partners and experience supporting or leading warehouse migration projects preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
