Treasury Intern position at Kering in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Gain experience in corporate treasury, cash management, and banking operations across APAC.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyse liquidity forecasts and monitor regional liquidity positions
  • Manage region cash pool operations and perform cash positioning through SAP
  • Handle and monitor internal and external loan applications and rollovers
  • Administer banking credit facilities, ensure adequate allocation across brands, and manage bank e-banking portals and user access
  • Implement and maintain bank account master data, oversee new account openings (BAM), and manage Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processes
  • Assist with bank signatory updates, Power of Attorney management, and Board Resolution documentation in coordination with Internal Legal teams
  • Support in-store payment terminal requests, manage Payment Link user access, and oversee store staff and Kering OTC access
  • Administer bank guarantee processes including new requests, renewals, and monthly reconciliation of BG records
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and global treasury standards; maintain accurate documentation and support internal control and audit activities
  • Contribute to treasury process optimization, automation initiatives, and ad hoc operational tasks as assigned by the Regional Treasury and Payment Senior Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or banking (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese with strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Microsoft Forms and Power Automate is advantageous
  • Familiarity with bank portal systems and workflows
  • Understanding of information systems, workflows, and workplace technologies
  • Prior exposure to SAP or Diapason treasury systems is beneficial but not mandatory

Experience
