Kering Treasury and Forecasting Assistant internship in Paris – 6-month opportunity in cash management and financial forecasting

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to daily treasury management operations including bank statement integration, bank reconciliations, balance transfer management, and daily treasury position determination
  • Maintain and update cash pooling and bank account reference databases
  • Participate in treasury reporting production and analysis
  • Prepare and track intercompany payment campaigns (TPA)
  • Complete forecasting files for corporate entities within the designated scope while respecting submission deadlines
  • Collect necessary data from the TMS (bank balances, forecast flows) to feed forecast models
  • Assist in variance analysis between forecast and actual figures and support semi-annual closing processes
  • Support the continuous improvement of forecasting tools and processes through data reliability and automation initiatives
  • Assist in the deployment of cash pooling solutions across the group
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of cash management and back office processes

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student at Bac +4/5 level pursuing a degree from a university, business school, or engineering school
  • Foundational knowledge of treasury management, financial markets, and market instruments (interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities)
  • Rigorous and reactive with strong analytical capabilities and proactive problem-solving orientation
  • Demonstrates dynamism, teamwork spirit, and adaptability
  • Proficient in office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point (Power BI is a plus)
  • Fluent in both French and English, written and oral
