Kering Transport Operations Senior Specialist in Novara, Italy. Manage global logistics and international transport operations across air, ocean, and rail. €32.5k + bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end transport flows across air, ocean, and rail modalities, ensuring smooth execution and service continuity
- Proactively identify and resolve operational disruptions, managing urgent and critical shipments
- Ensure shipment visibility and on-time delivery performance through advanced tracking mechanisms
- Develop and maintain transport dashboards and KPIs, providing analytical insights to support operational and strategic decisions
- Use advanced Excel tools including pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting to monitor and track transport performance
- Act as key interface between global stakeholders—brands, regions, and customer service teams—ensuring clear and proactive communication
- Lead supplier switch and transition activities, ensuring business continuity and IT integration between suppliers and internal systems
- Support new country openings and operational setup initiatives
- Contribute to the implementation of multi-carrier models across key geographies
- Lead cost optimization initiatives, monitor transport costs against budgets, and analyze cost drivers and variances
- Validate and apply agreed pricing structures with transport suppliers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and data-driven analysis
Qualifications
- Proven experience in international transport and logistics within complex, global environments
- Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and rail transport operations
- Solid understanding of transport cost structures, rate mechanisms, and financial drivers
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage urgency and critical situations within structured processes
- High level of accountability and ownership
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory)
- Luxury or fashion industry experience (preferred but not required)

Experience
Proven professional experience in international transport and logistics operations within complex, global environments. Knowledge of multi-modal transport (air, ocean, rail) is essential. Prior experience in the luxury or fashion sector is advantageous but not required.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration are preferred but not mandatory.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Novara, Piedmont, Italy, with easy access to Milan.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 32,500 per annum.
