Role & Responsibilities

• Operate daily in AI-SDLC mode using generative AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for code generation, review, refactoring, documentation, and testing
• Establish and disseminate effective prompting practices, human-AI workflows, and AI-assisted code review patterns to accelerate team adoption
• Lead agentic LLM-based workflows for specification generation, scaffolding, regression analysis, and incident triage via the Galassia AI Gateway platform
• Co-design technical strategy with architects, product owners, and peer tech leads; define and enforce architecture principles, frameworks, and component libraries
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews, enforce best practices in performance, testability, security, and developer experience across CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Drive solution reliability through measurable DORA metrics, code coverage targets, and deployment lead times
• Actively experiment with and integrate generative AI tools into development workflows; promote agentic AI approaches for task automation and autonomous system design
• Coach and mentor developers in technical excellence, fostering continuous capability advancement and engineering culture
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, SRE, DevOps, security, and data teams to deliver cohesive, testable, high-impact features
• Establish continuous improvement initiatives using performance, reliability, component reusability, and developer experience KPIs aligned to measurable business outcomes

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience with significant tenure as a lead developer or technical lead
• Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Solid knowledge of cloud environments (GCP or AWS) and distributed architectures; familiarity with composable systems and modern software design principles
• Proven experience with CI/CD practices, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing methodologies
• Daily practical use of generative AI tools in software development environments
• Demonstrated ability to assess LLM output quality, design effective prompts, and calibrate appropriate autonomy levels for AI agents
• Hands-on experience designing or contributing to architectures integrating generative AI components (RAG, function calling, agent orchestration)
• Strong understanding of testability, observability, and security challenges in AI-integrated pipelines
• Familiarity with agile environments and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalents)
• Proven track record influencing teams and stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority
• Experience transforming engineering practices with measurable impact on velocity or quality
• Self-driven, analytically rigorous, and results-oriented mindset focused on outcomes and business impact
