Kering Team Manager position in Ingolstadt, Germany; lead luxury retail team, drive client experience, and manage sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional client experiences, ensuring all Client Advisors embody a hospitality-driven and elevated service mindset
- Capture and leverage meaningful client insights to build long-term relationships and support personalized client development using clienteling tools
- Monitor Client Advisor performance and implement daily, weekly, and monthly plans to enhance clienteling excellence and achieve clear KPIs
- Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating the Kering Multibrand outlet selling ceremony and overseeing seamless client service flow
- Lead and support company-driven local events and product launches, ensuring client attendance and sales results
- Proactively address and resolve client concerns to strengthen satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term relationships
- Deliver regular coaching and constructive feedback to Client Advisors, supporting professional development and performance
- Drive the annual Performance and Development Conversation process for direct reports, inspiring career development opportunities
- Lead engaging morning briefings using varied facilitation techniques, delivering key business communication and daily objectives
- Foster a cross-category and cross-brand selling mindset among team members
- Support talent acquisition by identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent through competency-based interviews
- Ensure effective onboarding for new joiners and manage employee-relations matters in partnership with Store Managers and People Partners
- Monitor team adherence to company policies and procedures, following up when needed
- Monitor assigned category performance and all store KPIs, proposing proactive action plans to reach targets
- Analyze store results consistently and partner with the Store Manager to provide recommendations and actionable improvement plans
- Partner with Store Managers and Merchandising team, providing feedback on products, stock situation, and category requests
- Collaborate to ensure Client Advisors continuously develop product expertise and maintain awareness of market trends
- Leverage digital tools and omnichannel platforms to support both in-store and online sales opportunities
- Oversee and support tracking and execution of special orders with effective Merchandising team coordination
- Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, and cross-functional departments while adhering to company policies
- Plan and liaise with Store Managers to accurately schedule FTE according to team capabilities and traffic flow
- Allocate tasks and activities based on people's abilities and delegate effectively
- Support and maintain visual merchandising standards set by worldwide headquarters
- Maintain full organization of company assets in back and front of house per stock guidelines
- Support product handling, transactions, payment processes, and general store administration
- Support opening and closing of store as Manager on Duty, providing leadership and guidance to all Client Advisors on shift
- Optimize stock and inventory management, monitoring and reporting any risks
- Ensure optimal adherence to all key health, safety, and security aspects in partnership with Store Managers
Qualifications
- 4+ years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
- Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Industry awareness and strong business acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
- Passion for the fashion industry
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
4+ years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry; demonstrated track record of driving team performance and delivering exceptional client experiences in a luxury or high-end retail environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
