Kering — Tax Intern (Transfer Pricing, VAT & Customs) in Paris. Six-month internship from July 2025 supporting transfer pricing, VAT and customs teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Draft transfer pricing memoranda and documentation, integrating fiscal and economic analyses.
  • Support the transfer pricing team in the preparation and defence of positions during tax audits and the development of defence arguments.
  • Analyse and process financial data relevant to transfer pricing studies.
  • Conduct legal and doctrinal research and monitor international tax developments (case law, treaties, international tax rules).
  • Perform research on customs topics including dispute procedures, customs regimes and rules of origin under free trade agreements.
  • Prepare detailed analytical memos, summaries and procedural documents for finance, accounting and logistics teams.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of customs controls and maintain legislative and jurisprudential watch.
  • Support VAT workstreams by determining VAT treatment of Group flows, drafting technical notes and reviewing tax clauses in contracts.
  • Prepare presentations and technical memoranda in English and French for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bac+5 programme (Master 2, advanced master's or equivalent) and seeking a six-month internship as part of academic requirements (Master 2 internship or PPI).
  • Solid foundation in European and international taxation, with specific interest in transfer pricing, VAT and customs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience interpreting financial data and drafting technical notes.
  • Team-oriented, rigorous, proactive and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and sensitivity to brand and reputational issues.

Experience

This position is structured as an academic internship for a Master 2 student; prior exposure to tax, transfer pricing, customs or accounting (via internships or relevant coursework) is advantageous but not mandatory.
