Kering — Tax Intern (Stagiaire fiscaliste) in Paris: six-month, full-time internship starting Jan 2027 in the Group Tax Department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on French and international direct and indirect taxation for operational and corporate entities (IS, VAT, registration duties, various taxes).
- Draft detailed analytical memoranda, executive summaries and presentations in both French and English for finance teams and tax forums.
- Support preparation for tax audits and litigation: analyse documents and data, prepare procedural files and draft technical argumentation.
- Monitor legislative and case-law developments on a monthly basis and report key changes to the tax team.
- Analyse and apply double taxation conventions and comparative tax law matters.
- Assist domestic and international teams (EMEA/AMERICAS/APAC) on tax issues and prepare technical notes and client-facing presentations.
- Participate in functional analysis interviews and contribute to transfer pricing documentation and reviews.
- Contribute to transactional tax workstreams, including restructurings and acquisition-related tax due diligence.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of international tax developments and their operational impact for the Group's maisons.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bac+5 programme (Master 2 or Mastère spécialisé) and seeking a PPI internship placement.
- Solid foundational knowledge of French corporate tax and international tax principles, including transfer pricing and VAT.
- Fluent English and strong written and oral French; able to draft technical notes and presentations in both languages.
- Prior professional experience (internship or alternance) in a similar tax role in-house or in a law/accounting firm.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, intellectual curiosity and professional discretion.
- Excellent organisation, time management, autonomy and attention to detail; sensitivity to brand image.
