Kering seeks a SysOps Expert in Scandicci, Italy — senior role ensuring hybrid cloud reliability and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of daily operations for hybrid infrastructures spanning private and public clouds, ensuring system stability and scalability.
- Ensure SLA compliance through proactive monitoring, automation and continuous performance optimisation.
- Manage and evolve cloud operations (primarily AWS and private cloud), producing clear, data-driven reporting for stakeholders.
- Act as the technical reference for one or more critical infrastructure domains and provide authoritative guidance on operational matters.
- Lead operational governance and technical committees with suppliers and outsourced partners to enforce standards and drive improvements.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Drive Incident, Change and Problem Management in accordance with ITIL best practices, leading complex troubleshooting and permanent remediation.
- Collaborate closely with Service Owners, regional and global teams, brands and technology entities to align operational objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive SysOps/CloudOps experience in enterprise-scale, hybrid (on-premise and cloud) environments.
- Fluent English (required); Italian considered a plus.
- Proven expertise with AWS and hybrid cloud architectures and strong systems administration skills (Linux and Windows).
- Demonstrable experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, vRA).
- Experience operating enterprise backup and storage solutions and familiarity with monitoring, logging and vulnerability management.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills with experience leading supplier and cross-functional technical governance.

Experience
Senior SysOps professional with 7+ years operating in complex, enterprise-scale hybrid environments. Demonstrated track record in CloudOps/DevOps, systems administration, virtualization, storage and backup, monitoring and delivering service reliability at scale in international, distributed organisations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, RHCE, ITIL) are desirable.
