Supply Chain Data Analyst at Kering in Tokyo, Japan – Lead logistics operations reporting and analysis for luxury brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of Supply Chain & Logistics Operations reporting and analysis frameworks for Japan, ensuring high data quality, visibility, and reliability
- Integrate and analyze shipping and cost data from multiple systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) to deliver actionable insights that drive improvements in B2B and B2C service performance
- Build and maintain daily key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operations team activities and enable fast reaction to performance issues
- Deliver clear and actionable insights to Brands, translating brand requirements and forecasts into operationally actionable plans for the Operations team
- Manage and enhance invoice validation processes using data-driven methodologies, ensuring accuracy and effective cost control
- Create automatic daily and weekly reports for the Japan Operations team and individual brands
- Develop weekly reports covering End-to-End operations flow and performance, including aftersales and import/export activities
- Perform detailed cost analysis on a monthly basis to identify cost optimization opportunities and support cost efficiency initiatives
- Participate in supplier meetings to challenge and align data from external reporting
- Contribute to cross-functional projects with an analytics perspective, working with Senior Project Managers and the worldwide Methods and Innovation Team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with Supply Chain and Logistics expertise required
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) at development level
- Advanced Excel skills including VBA and strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint)
- Awareness of IT systems supporting logistics processes (SAP, ERP, WMS, planning systems)
- Strong analytical mindset with critical and solution-oriented thinking
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights and compelling presentations
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; background in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst with demonstrated expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics operations. Proven track record of developing reporting frameworks, integrating data from multiple systems, and delivering insights that drive operational improvements and cost optimization.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Background in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is considered advantageous.
