Kering is seeking a Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Intern to join the CERT’s CTI team in Paris. The intern will conduct strategic threat analyses, monitor cybercrime and geopolitical risks, produce intelligence briefings and support threat ecosystem mapping while gaining exposure to SOC and CSIRT activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic analyses for internal teams, including Finance, Legal, security and the CISO.
- Collect and analyse information from open, closed and community sources to identify threats relevant to the group.
- Write concise intelligence notes for security, safety, management and brand protection teams.
- Monitor cybercrime, hacktivism and geopolitical dynamics affecting the luxury sector.
- Monitor the dark web and detect weak signals related to fraud, counterfeiting and attack preparations.
- Contribute to regular bulletins and forward-looking scenarios to assess the threat landscape.
- Map threat ecosystems specific to the sector.
- Make analyses actionable for cybersecurity and business teams.
Qualifications
- Currently studying intelligence, geopolitics, international security or strategic analysis, with a background such as Sciences Po, EGE, LSE or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, including the ability to convert complex technical information into clear, structured insights.
- Curiosity, rigour and an investigative approach to understanding actor dynamics and analysing threats from different perspectives.
- Ability to write notes, briefs and summaries and adapt messages to diverse audiences.
- Excellent command of English for monitoring, analysis and writing in an international context.
- Knowledge of computing, including networks, operating systems, code and email, to understand attackers’ operating methods.
- Strong interest in cyber issues, cybercrime and risks affecting the luxury sector.
