Kering seeks a Staff Accountant in Wayne, NJ — responsible for GL maintenance, reconciliations and month‑end close. $70k–$78k + comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts with rigorous attention to accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries, month-end analyses and account reconciliations to support the monthly close.
- Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely processing and reporting.
- Respond to information requests, prepare documentation for audits and assist with audit fieldwork.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Provide ad hoc support to the analyst and other finance team members as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Practical experience with SAP.
- Strong numeracy, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management abilities; able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

Experience
Approximately 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate finance or public accounting environment; demonstrated experience with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
