Kering Senior Accounting Manager — Record-to-Report (R2R)
Kering seeks a Senior Accounting Manager - R2R in Shanghai to lead Hong Kong & Macau financial reporting, SAP operations and a team of eight.

Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end statutory accounts processes for the Hong Kong & Macau retail entities, including general ledger accounting, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany flows.
- Prepare, review and submit financial statements for approximately 18 legal entities (22 Management Reporting Units) into the Group consolidation tool, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Hong Kong GAAP, Macau GAAP and Group accounting policies, acting as the local technical authority.
- Serve as primary liaison with external auditors during year-end audits and support internal audit and tax inspections.
- Design, implement and monitor robust internal controls; ensure control objectives are documented, tested and remediated as required.
- Lead R2R transformation initiatives to standardize, optimize and automate close processes, materially reducing reporting lead times.
- Leverage deep SAP expertise to maximise system capabilities and embed best-practice financial procedures.
- Manage, coach and develop a team of eight accounting professionals, driving performance, capability building and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, internal/external audit and in-house brand finance) to ensure aligned financial reporting and service delivery under SLA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within a multinational corporation or shared service environment.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of IFRS and local Hong Kong and Macau GAAP.
- Proven experience leading R2R processes, financial close and statutory reporting.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills; excellent command of English (written and verbal).

Experience
8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity within a multinational corporation or finance shared service centre; prior exposure to retail or luxury goods is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA required.
