Role & Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities within the R2R scope, including fixed assets management, tax administration (VAT, corporate tax), payroll reconciliation and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and justify statutory accounts, annual financial statements and tax returns for legal entities, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and applicable local GAAP for German entities and other assigned entities; prepare schedules and documentation for external audits.
- Deliver monthly reporting and present results during monthly meetings with the Group’s maisons; support ad hoc reporting requests from stakeholders.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls in line with the Group’s internal control procedures to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
- Drive process harmonisation and continuous improvement across the R2R stream; monitor KPIs and ensure alignment of local processes with platform standards.
- Participate in cross-functional projects with treasury, brand controllers, FSSC teams and other finance functions to ensure coherent operational execution and timely deliverables.
- Support preparation of materials for shareholders’ meetings and legal governance bodies as required.
Qualifications
- French professional accounting qualification (DCG) or master’s level degree in Accounting/Control/Audit/Finance (e.g., Master CCA, DSCG).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as a general accountant, preferably within a finance shared service or multi-entity environment.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, with strong proficiency in SAP.
- Solid technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, and demonstrated ability to apply accounting standards to statutory and management reporting.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with high adaptability and effective stakeholder management skills.

Experience
At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a shared services environment or multi-entity group, with demonstrated exposure to statutory reporting, audits and process improvement within an international context.
Education
DCG or DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, Audit or Finance.
