Kering seeks a Regional Security and Asset Protection Manager in Shanghai to lead loss prevention, crisis response and security programmes across Greater China.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional security training and programmes tailored to the distinct operational environments and risks of each Kering House, including conflict management, loss prevention, threat awareness, emergency response and physical security measures.
  • Support the roll-out and testing of crisis management, emergency response and business continuity plans for natural and man‑made incidents affecting people, assets and reputation.
  • Act as a primary incident coordinator for retail security events across Greater China, ensuring timely identification, escalation and cross‑functional alignment with local management, Group Security, HR, Legal, Corporate Communications and external emergency services or law enforcement.
  • Conduct regular assessments, audits and reviews of technical and physical security arrangements in stores and corporate facilities (access control, CCTV, alarm systems, guarding services); identify gaps, propose corrective actions and manage remediation projects to completion.
  • Analyse exception and shrinkage reports (refunds, staff discounts, voids and other abnormal transactions), prepare structured audit findings and present root‑cause analysis and mitigation recommendations to senior management.
  • Advise on loss prevention and physical security enhancements for retail and corporate sites and provide operational security guidance for events such as fashion shows or executive movements.
  • Assist internal investigations into fraud, embezzlement and other criminality in collaboration with Legal, HR and Internal Audit.
  • Support oversight of close protection/executive escort arrangements for senior management, including provider monitoring and incident reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local law enforcement and relevant regulatory agencies; represent the Group in external security forums as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Criminology or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in corporate security, asset protection or loss prevention; retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable expertise in risk management, crisis & emergency management, physical security, investigations, personnel security and executive protection.
  • Proven experience liaising with multiple levels of law enforcement, government regulatory agencies and private security providers.
  • Law enforcement or military background is advantageous.
  • Excellent influencing, presentation and facilitation skills; confident communicator with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English required; proficiency in Mandarin, Thai or Bahasa Indonesia is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and ability to produce clear audit and management reports.
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 20–25%.

Experience

At least 8 years of progressive responsibility in corporate security, asset protection or loss prevention, with demonstrable experience in retail operations, incident coordination, audits and liaison with law enforcement; law enforcement or military experience is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Law, Criminology or related field preferred.
