Role & Responsibilities
- Process intercompany transactions, including issuance and recording of billings, invoices, debit and credit notes in accordance with agreed timelines and controls.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing tasks for intercompany accounts, including confirmations, reconciliations and income/expense accruals.
- Provide audit support by responding to queries and producing documentation related to intercompany transactions.
- Identify, escalate and help remediate operational or control gaps to improve daily operations and SLA performance for month‑end and year‑end close.
- Participate in SSC initiatives to redesign controls and processes to support the objective of a 100% paperless operation.
- Support process‑improvement projects and deliver ad‑hoc assignments as required by the Manager, R2R Intercompany.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' overall experience in finance and accounting roles.
- At least 2 years' experience in a public accounting firm; candidates from Big Four firms are highly preferred.
- Practical exposure to intercompany accounting and month‑end close processes.
- Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a public accounting firm; prior exposure to Shared Services or intercompany accounting across multiple jurisdictions is desirable.
Education
Accounting/Finance degree with Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

The successful candidate will be located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, with easy access to Kuala Lumpur.
