Kering — Purchase-to-Pay Assistant in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Responsible for invoice processing, SLA compliance and stakeholder support using SAP.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and related P2P transactions within agreed SLAs, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
- Escalate and resolve problematic invoices and payment issues in a timely manner to minimise payment delays.
- Support period, quarter and year-end processing activities and ad-hoc close tasks as required.
- Address end-market and stakeholder enquiries; maintain relationships with Brands Finance where applicable.
- Assist with new process implementations, maintenance of Accounts Payable policies & procedures and adherence to internal controls.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Back up peers and provide operational support across the P2P team when required.
- Meet service levels and SSC standards while complying with accounting principles and SLAs.
Qualifications
- Diploma with minimum 1 year of relevant experience in finance/accounts payable, or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field (fresh graduates with degree considered).
- Basic knowledge of core accounting concepts, expenditure cycle procedures (POs, invoices, credit/debit notes, payment terms) and inter-company recharge rules.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Good organisational and time-management skills with a proactive learning mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year performing Purchase-to-Pay / Accounts Payable transactions preferred; fresh graduates with a relevant degree will be considered.
Education
Diploma (with minimum 1 year relevant experience) or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant degrees considered.
