Kering seeks Payroll Manager for Central Europe team in Paris. Manage payroll operations across 7 countries in HR Shared Services Center role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collect, control, and validate variable payroll data submitted by local HR and employees
  • Transmit payroll input elements to service providers within established calendars
  • Review payroll statements produced by providers and conduct coherence audits
  • Verify proper accounting of absences, guarantees, and employment events (illness, maternity, hiring/termination)
  • Control account clearances and end-of-contract elements
  • Ensure accurate completion of statutory reports and payments by vendors
  • Advise and guide local HR teams on payroll regulations and procedures
  • Provide daily operational follow-up with local payroll vendors
  • Monitor service quality and timelines, escalate variances
  • Participate in Service Level Agreement (SLA) audits
  • Perform activity reporting and maintain management dashboards
  • Supply post-payroll statements to Finance and management control functions
  • Track requests in dedicated tools in compliance with SLAs
  • Ensure team versatility and backup capacity to guarantee service continuity
  • Contribute to process refinement and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of payroll experience, ideally in international environments and/or vendor management
  • Strong understanding of externalized payroll models (Managed Services)
  • Demonstrated experience with payroll control and data validation
  • Proficiency in Workday (or equivalent HRIS) and advanced Excel skills
  • Analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail
  • Versatility and ability to provide backup support within a small team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Collaborative team player in multi-stakeholder and multicultural environments
