Kering seeks Payroll Coordinator for Central Europe in Paris. Lead 7-country payroll operations and manage external service providers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and guarantee payroll production across all Central European countries in compliance with procedures, deadlines, and local legal obligations
  • Supervise and conduct data entry controls and review payroll statements produced by external service providers
  • Manage monthly payroll closings and local reporting deadlines in coordination with service providers
  • Define, formalize, and evolve internal procedures and control checkpoints for payroll processes
  • Ensure risk mitigation and adherence to internal control mechanisms across the payroll function
  • Guarantee data alignment between HR Operations, Finance, and Treasury departments
  • Lead relationships with local payroll service providers and monitor service levels (SLA, KPI, quality metrics)
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop corrective action plans with service providers
  • Participate in vendor selection processes, onboarding of new providers, and scope expansion initiatives
  • Coordinate activities of payroll administrators and organize portfolio distribution to ensure service continuity
  • Mentor and support the professional development of the payroll team
  • Drive harmonization, process stabilization, and continuous improvement projects across payroll operations
  • Maintain regulatory awareness across all countries within the scope
  • Produce activity reporting and performance indicators for management oversight

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of payroll experience, including multi-country environment exposure and/or payroll service provider management
  • First experience in team coordination or management strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll environments and outsourcing models
  • Proficiency with Workday (or equivalent HRIS) and advanced Excel skills for controls and reporting
  • Analytical mindset, rigorous approach to work, and strong internal control discipline with operational focus
  • Customer service orientation and ease in multicultural environments
  • Ability to structure, prioritize, and coordinate complex initiatives
  • Fluent English (working language); German proficiency is a plus
