Kering — Payroll Administrator (12-month FTC) in London: manage UK & Irish monthly payroll, variable pay and payroll queries for Kering UK Shared Services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely monthly payroll for designated Kering brands within the UK Shared Services remit.
- Respond to and resolve payroll queries and administration tasks, including maternity payments and advance payment calculations, meeting agreed SLAs.
- Input variable pay elements such as overtime, commissions, salary review adjustments and annual bonus payments.
- Liaise with the payroll software supplier to ensure compliance with HMRC and internal company requirements and technical updates.
- Support internal and external audit requests and ad hoc finance queries relating to payroll.
- Continuously review and improve payroll processes and data flows with the wider HR team to enhance service efficiency.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across HR, finance and business teams to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Good legislative knowledge of UK payroll; experience of Irish payroll highly desirable.
- Payroll qualification (part-qualified or fully qualified) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and process-driven mindset.
- Proactive, solution-focused attitude and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to operate effectively within a team.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on payroll experience processing UK payroll; demonstrable exposure to variable pay processing (overtime, commissions), payroll systems and audit-related payroll work. Experience of Irish payroll is an advantage.
Education
No specific academic degree required; payroll qualification (part or full) preferred.
