Kering seeks an Order-to-Cash Supervisor in Shanghai to lead retail and e-commerce financial operations, manage reconciliations, and coach accounting teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily sales income for Direct Operating Stores (DOS), oversee shopping card and VIP coupon settlements, and process special refund requests in compliance with company policy
  • Validate sales data from e-commerce platforms and perform monthly reconciliations with acquirer statements and third-party reports to ensure transaction accuracy
  • Manage daily reconciliation of sales proceeds via the Blackline platform, ensuring clearing accounts are settled promptly and accurately
  • Verify landlord rental statements against lease agreements and submit payment applications according to contractual terms
  • Reconcile shop-in-shop (SIS) sales reports with landlord statements, validate expense deductions per lease agreements, and ensure timely issuance of VAT invoices
  • Monitor the issuance and redemption of customer store credit, reconciling balances with both landlords and retail stores
  • Track and validate landlords' input VAT invoices; compile and provide output VAT details to the tax team for reporting
  • Drive process standardization and improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and best-practice sharing across teams
  • Serve as key contact point for brand finance teams and retail operations, providing guidance and support to junior accountants
  • Perform regular review of reconciliations, journals, and transaction processing to ensure accuracy and compliance; monitor O2C KPIs and identify risks or discrepancies
  • Participate in system enhancement projects (SAP, Blackline, e-commerce integration) and support transformation initiatives within the shared service center
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by line manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of relevant Order-to-Cash (O2C) experience, preferably within retail, luxury, or FMCG sectors in a multinational environment
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS & PRC GAAP) and internal controls
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience in team supervision, coaching, or review roles
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Experience

Demonstrated experience with system implementation projects or business transformation initiatives is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
