Kering seeks an Order-to-Cash Accountant in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to manage accounts receivable and revenue operations within the FSSC.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure complete and accurate recording of sales transactions from multiple channels, including POS systems, ERP systems, and payment gateways
  • Review and reconcile daily sales interfaces to maintain data integrity across systems
  • Monitor sales postings to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
  • Investigate and resolve sales discrepancies, interface failures, and transactional exceptions promptly
  • Support period-end closing activities related to revenue and accounts receivable
  • Generate and validate customer invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and account adjustments
  • Monitor aging balances and follow up with customers to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
  • Collaborate with commercial and boutique teams to facilitate collection efforts and account resolution
  • Process customer refunds accurately in accordance with company policies and approval matrices
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes, payment provider chargebacks, and payment discrepancies
  • Perform daily cash application activities across multiple payment channels
  • Reconcile customer receipts from bank transfers, credit cards, digital payments, and third-party platforms
  • Investigate and clear unidentified receipts promptly
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for accounts receivable aging, customer advances, credit card clearing, and cash-in-transit
  • Maintain appropriate supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Participate in process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable or Order-to-Cash operations
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or shared service environments (preferred)
  • Knowledge of SAP, Blackline, and Microsoft Excel (preferred)

Experience
