Kering seeks an Industrial Accountant for a fixed-term role in Novara, Italy. Support accounting, payroll, and financial closing activities. €26,000 starting salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Record to Report processes including daily journal entries and monthly accrual postings
- Record fixed asset movements upon receipt of proper documentation
- Sustain AR activities and customer cash-in postings
- Handle payroll accounting and accruals
- Post vendor invoices and monitor due date invoices and vendor statement reconciliation
- Ensure accurate keeping of accounting books and mandatory records
- Assist monthly inter-company reconciliation and closure activities
- Manage monthly and annual closing activities for goods and services
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics or diploma in Accounting
- Minimum knowledge of general and fiscal accounting principles and national/international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated rigor and precision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of JD Edwards or SAP preferred
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken

Prior experience in an accounting role, ideally in a similar capacity within a manufacturing or luxury goods environment
Education
Degree in Economics or diploma in Accounting

This position is based in Novara, Piedmont, Italy, within easy reach of Milan.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 26,000 per annum.
