Kering — Import & Export Assistant (6-month contract) in Seoul. Support import/export operations, customs compliance and supplier management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate import, export and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery and correct placement of products across Korea DOS and DFS stores.
- Manage end‑to‑end logistics projects including international transportation, local audits and monitoring the flow of goods.
- Ensure strict compliance with Korea customs regulations and provide guidance to global and local stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on quality, quantity, delivery times, costs and service efficiency to support brand requirements.
- Analyse logistics data to produce reliable KPIs and recommendations for operational improvement.
- Manage and develop relationships with external suppliers to maximise performance and contain costs.
- Propose and implement process optimisations to deliver best‑in‑market logistics processes and cost models.
- Collaborate closely with brand contacts, external suppliers and Group Operations headquarters to align operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, import/export or freight operations — retail sector experience preferred.
- Proven knowledge of Korea customs procedures and international transportation processes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; ability to liaise with multi‑lingual, multi‑brand teams.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change, drive results and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years' hands‑on experience in logistics/import & export or freight forwarding, ideally within the retail or luxury sector, with responsibility for customs compliance, international shipments and supplier coordination.
Education
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, international trade, business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

The successful candidate will be located in Seoul, Seoul, South Korea.
