Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations within the AMER HR Shared Services (HRSS) model, ensuring accurate and timely execution of HR transactions (onboarding/offboarding, employee data management, compliance).
  • Supervise, coach and develop HR operations team members, conducting performance management and training to maintain service excellence.
  • Monitor HR service levels and operational KPIs, prepare management reports and dashboards (Brand MPMs) to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Act as local lead and contributor to HR transformation initiatives: support process standardization, automation, scalability and improved employee/brand experience.
  • Partner with AMER HRSS Centers of Excellence, IT and external vendors during HRIS implementations and system integrations; support testing, data validation and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Drive adoption of new processes and technologies across HRSS through change management activities, communications, training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure HR data integrity, security and governance across systems and integrations; maintain audit readiness and compliance with federal, state and local employment legislation and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide operational and financial insights that support decision-making and optimized service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR operations or shared services environments.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Proven track record supporting HR transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.
  • Experience participating in HRIS implementations and system integration projects.
  • Practical knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, DataFlow; UKG preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective communicator with training, knowledge-transfer and change management experience.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM) preferred.

Experience
