Kering is seeking a senior Head of Construction to lead its France–UK regional team and Retail and Non-Retail project portfolio, reporting to the Worldwide Construction Director. The role oversees project delivery, budgets, procurement, compliance, external partners and team development while advising senior leaders on strategic construction decisions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the France–UK Construction portfolio across Non-Retail and Retail projects, aligning delivery with Group priorities, the needs of the Maisons, governance standards, budgets, schedules and quality requirements.
  • Translate business, operational and Maison requirements into specifications, feasibility studies, cost plans, roadmaps and decision-making materials.
  • Oversee delivery of offices, headquarters, showrooms, logistics spaces, Retail projects, landlord works, renovations, compliance upgrades and technical due diligence assignments.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, tenders, risks, reporting and external partner appointments in accordance with Group standards.
  • Structure, lead and develop the regional Construction team, fostering accountability, collaboration, talent development and effective workload management.
  • Manage consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and specialist partners to ensure quality, safety, compliance, cost control and timely delivery.
  • Provide senior leaders with clear recommendations and reliable reporting on feasibility, investments, risks, budgets, delays and corrective measures.
  • Maintain and monitor dashboards, databases, certifications, permits, compliance registers, warranties and technical archives.
  • Act as a reference point for technical, contractual and regulatory requirements, and contribute to improving procedures, working methods and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or architecture degree required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction, real estate project management, technical leadership or Store Planning.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, as well as tenders, procurement, contract negotiations, costs, schedules and reporting.
  • Strong autonomy, accountability and sound judgment, with the ability to manage several Non-Retail and Retail projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills with senior leaders, Maisons, internal functions and external partners.
  • Rigorous, reliable and results-oriented, with strong organisational skills and ease working in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Strong expertise in construction compliance, due diligence, building regulations, health and safety, operational constraints and local permits.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, discretion, confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Fluent French and English; Italian is an advantage.
